The Sahih Style method is a ritualistic approach to grooming that prioritises skin health and sharp, symmetrical beard architecture. By combining thermal preparation with single-blade precision, this system aims to eliminate common issues such as razor bumps and ingrown hairs while providing an at home barber-grade finish. 

Phase 1: Thermal Preparation (The Open) 
Softening the hair follicle is the most critical step to prevent tugging and skin trauma. 
The Sahih system begins with a pre-shave hot towel treatment designed to open the pores and soften the keratin proteins within the beard hair that makes the texture thicker and coarser. 

• Benefit: The Heat and steam will expand the pores to significantly reduce the force 
required to cut the hair, which prevents the "tug and pull" that leads to nicks and 
irritation. 

Phase 2: Structural Alignment & Pre-Detailing 
Uniform hair direction is essential for achieving perfect symmetry during the shave. 
Before the blade touches the skin, the beard must be "tamed" and cleared of bulk to ensure the razor has a clean path. 

Beard Brush Alignment 
Use the Sahih Falcon Beard Brush to comb through the beard in a downward motion. This 
serves two purposes: 
1. Exfoliation: It lifts dead skin cells and debris from under the beard. 
2. Training: It trains the hair to grow in a uniform direction, making it easier to identify uneven patches. 

Precision Trimming 
Utilising the Sahih Steel Precision Scissors, snip away any stray or loose hairs that disrupt the beard's silhouette. Focus on the moustache and the bulk along the upper cheek line to ensure a clear baseline for the razor. 

Phase 3: Precision Shaving with the Sahih Sword Straight Edge Razor 
Single-blade geometry provides a cleaner cut than multi-blade cartridges, reducing the risk of ingrown hairs. 

The Sahih Sword is a precision-engineered straight-edge razor designed for defining sharp lines and edges with high accuracy. We do not recommend any straight razor for full head or full face shaving unless you are professionally trained. 

• Apply your preferred shaving cream or gel to the lines you wish to define (neckline, 
cheek lines or hair line). 
• Maintain the razor at a 30-degree angle relative to the skin. This is the optimal angle for 
cutting the hair cleanly at the surface without scraping the dermis. 
• Symmetry Technique: Use your free hand to pull the skin taut to ensure maximum 
symmetry and a closer shave. This creates a flat surface for the blade, allowing for short, 
controlled strokes that yield professional symmetry along the neckline and cheek lines. 

Phase 4: Recovery & Protection (The Close) 
Instant pore compression is required to seal the skin and prevent environmental 
contaminants from causing inflammation. 

The final phase "shocks" the skin back to a calm state using thermal contrast. 
1. Cold Towel Compression: Dip a the Sahih Compression face towel into some ice-cold water or wrap it around some ice cubes and press it firmly against the shaved areas for 60 seconds.

This constricts the blood vessels and closes the pores instantly to reduce post-shave redness and inflammation. 

2. Soothing Balm Application: Apply an aftershave or balm designed to stop ingrown hairs 
massaging gently into the skin. This provides a protective barrier and hydrates the skin, ensuring the follicles do not become trapped as they begin to regrow.
